Join Our Finance Team at The Compleat Food Group!

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Finance Manager to join our credible Finance team based at our site in Milton Keynes. This role will also include our Redhill site.

This role is ideal for a focused and dynamic Finance Manager who will take ownership of overseeing the financial performance of the site. You will play a crucial role in driving financial strategy while ensuring day-to-day financial operations align seamlessly with the company’s broader objectives.

Working Hours

The working hours are Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 17:00.

Your Duties Will Include

1. Be a key part of the site leadership team, supporting growth initiatives.
2. Support the drive of Commercial & Operational initiatives.
3. Drive sustainable margin improvement and cost reduction projects.
4. Review all capital proposals to ensure financial soundness.
5. Ensure accurate forecasting of capital project spend and benefits, aligning with approved proposals and escalating delays or changes.
6. Prepare daily and weekly KPI reports.
7. Take overall responsibility for monthly site management accounts, reporting variances to weekly reports, budget, and prior year.
8. Promote a cost awareness culture and ensure strong overhead control across all functions.
9. Review and approve monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
10. Regularly forecast site performance.
11. Conduct annual budgeting of site performance.
12. Monitor internal controls to manage and mitigate key business risks effectively.
13. Lead the onsite finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.

Your Skills And Experience

1. Finance qualification (CIMA, ACCA, ICAEW, etc.).
2. Advanced Excel skills.
3. Natural leadership qualities.
4. Excellent communication skills and ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
5. Proven track record of driving business performance through accurate reporting and challenging results.
6. ERP system knowledge.
7. Experience in FMCG sector.
