Job summary

Venture Recruitment Partners is assisting a long-established business in the New Forest to appoint a Finance Manager. Based in New Forest, this office-based role reports to the Finance Director and blends financial control with commercial insight.

You will lead the day-to-day finance function, ensuring robust controls and accurate reporting while partnering with operational stakeholders to drive performance and improvement.

Qualifications

• Strong management accounting and VAT knowledge.
• Experience managing and developing finance teams.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience working for a group or multi-entity business.
• Ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders.
• A positive, hands-on approach and continuous improvement mindset.
• Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with finance systems.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly management accounts.
• Own budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management.
• Review VAT returns and group balance sheet reconciliations.
• Business partnering with operational stakeholders across the organisation.
• Identifying opportunities to improve financial processes, controls and reporting.
• Leading, mentoring and developing the finance team.
• Supporting the Finance Director on a range of strategic and operational initiatives.

Finance Manager

We are delighted to be supporting a long-established and successful business in the New Forest with the appointment of a Finance Manager. Reporting directly to the Finance Director, this is a varied and influential role that combines financial control, commercial support and team leadership.

You'll play a key role in managing the day-to-day finance function, ensuring accurate reporting and robust controls, while providing valuable insight to support business performance and decision-making. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working across both the operational and financial sides of a business and is looking to make a tangible impact.

Key Responsibilities
