Your day at Aqua:

• Prepare monthly management accounts, food cost analysis, and statutory submissions
• Support month-end closure in collaboration with stakeholders
• Produce and analyse daily/monthly sales reports and investigate variances
• Maintain customer accounts, credit control, and deposit accounting
• Monitor and reconcile cash/card receipts and bank transactions
• Manage intercompany invoicing and account reconciliations
• Lead a small finance team (2 part-qualified accountants + Accounts Payable)
• Liaise with auditors and support budget, forecast, and audit processes
• Assist in VAT returns, statutory submissions, and internal controls
• Deliver financial training to operational staff
• Provide ad-hoc reporting and cover for AP as needed

What we are looking for:

• Experience using Sage Line 50 (essential)
• Strong Excel skills and comfortable working with data
• Experience in the hospitality industry (preferred but not essential)
• Multi-site accounting experience
• Able to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Self-motivated, organised, and a quick learner
• Strong work ethic with a proactive, can-do attitude
• A team player with excellent communication skills
