Job summary

The CFO HQ is recruiting a fully qualified Finance Manager in Stoke-on-Trent to take full control of end-to-end financial matters in a one-person department. You will ensure accurate bookkeeping, manage invoices and payroll, and maintain up-to-date records.

You will also prepare monthly management accounts, liaise with US accountants, and drive cost controls while ensuring statutory compliance and timely annual audits. You will report to the Managing Director.

Qualifications

• Must be CIMA or ACCA fully qualified.

Responsibilities

• Handle end-to-end bookkeeping and day-to-day financial tasks.

• Coordinate annual budget preparation and monitor progress.

The Finance Manager will be responsible for end-to-end financial matters of the business and should have relevant experience in a senior finance position. This role will report directly to the Managing Director.### Responsibilities* ● Handle all day-to-day bookkeeping requirements.* ● Processing invoices on the system.* ● Maintaining up-to-date records.* ● Checking accuracy of supplier invoices.* ● Handling all supplier payments in a timely fashion through online banking and BACS.* ● Handle all payroll matters by working with a third-party payroll provider.* ● Manage all company secretarial matters ensuring that records are kept up to date and all filings are submitted on time.* ● Manage all VAT affairs including quarterly returns.* ● Manage all other tax affairs.* ● Familiarity with PSA submissions.* ● Handle all monthly management account reports.
