Finance Manager

This is a rare opportunity to join a hospitality brand with real momentum and heart. We’re all about serving delicious food, bringing people together, and creating magical neighbourhood spaces - and now we need a talented finance manager leader to help us do it at scale.

The Role

As Finance Manager, you’ll lead the financial reporting function at Megan’s, working closely with our Finance Director and managing one team member (for now - we expect your team to grow as we do). With the FD overseeing multiple areas of the business, this role is ideal for a proactive self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

The role is based in our beautiful Clapham Old Town restaurant, where our support team is proudly located.

This is a development role: we're looking for a Finance Manager with the ambition and ability to step into a Financial Controller position within 12 months.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Leading the delivery of timely, accurate daily, weekly, and month-end reporting across all sites
• Reviewing and resolving monthly balance sheet reconciliations
• Producing insightful monthly management accounts, with variance analysis vs. budget, forecast & prior periods
• Presenting financial results to the operations and leadership teams, and partnering on performance strategies
• Owning the external audit process and preparation of statutory accounts
• Driving continuous improvement in financial systems, controls, and processes
• Preparing cash flow forecasts and working capital analysis
• Leading investment appraisals for new site openings and other capital projects
• Supporting the annual budget cycle and quarterly reforecasts
• Managing VAT returns and other statutory filings

What We’re Looking For

• ACA / ACCA / CA qualified, with 2+ years post-qualification experience
• Hospitality experience is a bonus, but not essential
• Commercially sharp, detail-focused, and confident communicating across the business
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and experience leading reporting processes
• Advanced Excel skills and a love for turning data into insight
• A self-starter mindset with bags of initiative and a collaborative spirit
