Remote Finance Manager; Accountancy and Tax Specialist - High-Growth Start-Up (UK-Wide)

Location: Fully Remote (UK-based)

The Role:

We're partnering with an innovative, high-growth start-up providing accountancy services to SMEs across the UK. They're looking for a Remote Finance Manager to provide Accountancy and Tax Services to join their dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a personable, enthusiastic, and detail-oriented professional to take on a varied role with plenty of room to grow.

What You'll Do:

• Manage a portfolio of SME and individual clients, acting as their go-to accountancy and tax expert.
• Oversee bookkeeping, VAT returns, payroll, annual accounts, corporation tax returns, and self-assessment submissions.
• Lead and mentor a team of bookkeepers, ensuring high standards and seamless client service.
• Provide strategic tax planning advice to help clients achieve their financial goals.
• Deliver ad hoc financial projects and contribute to the growth of the business.

What You'll Need:

• ACCA, ACA, CIMA, or equivalent qualification (part-qualified or QBE candidates with relevant experience will also be considered) with the role company focused on finding a commercially focused, progressive and dynamic character to join them on the growth journey.
• Strong technical knowledge of accountancy and tax for SMEs.
• Proficiency in Xero (essential) and familiarity with Dext, Hubdoc, and BrightPay (desirable).
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong client relationships.
• A proactive, adaptable, and organised approach to work.
• Experience in practice and a desire to grow with a fast-paced, forward-thinking business.
