Job summary

Michael Page (UK) is recruiting a Finance Manager for a globally recognised high-performance engineering business in Northampton. Hands-on role leading month-end processes, controls and budgeting within a manufacturing/engineering environment.

You will prepare monthly management accounts, reconciliations, VAT/PAYE compliance, R&D tax credit work, and provide insightful reporting for Directors. ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualified with 2+ PQE and strong Excel/Power Query skills are ideal.

Qualifications

• ACCA, CIMA or ACA fully qualified.
• Ideally 2+ years PQE within a manufacturing/engineering business.
• Experience managing small teams of 1–2 direct reports.
• MS Excel and Power Query skills.
• Strong ability to influence stakeholders and communicate.
• Experience leading month-end and management accounting deadlines.
• Strong analytical skills and diligence.

Responsibilities
