Job summary

Morgan Hunt UK Ltd is seeking a Temporary Finance Manager to join a prestigious Edinburgh business within the luxury retail sector. This hands-on role works closely with the Head of Finance and offers broad exposure across commercial operations.

Key duties include monthly management accounts, quarterly reports, cashflow monitoring, overseeing ledgers, stock reconciliations, year-end support, VAT, payroll, and budgeting. Ideal candidates are part-qualified with strong Excel and systems skills.

Qualifications

• Part‑qualified or qualified‑by‑experience candidates will be considered.
• Strong management accounting and budgeting experience.
• Confident Excel and financial systems skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Someone comfortable working in a busy, fast‑paced environment.
• Stock accounting/reconciliation experience would be advantageous.

Temporary Finance Manager to join a prestigious, long-established Edinburgh business operating within the
