Our client is a growing construction company, under new leadership in Braintree with ambitious growth plans. They are searching for a talented Finance Manager who shares their ambition. This position is a varied standalone finance manager role, with significant progression scope. In this varied role, you will be tasked with preparing all management accounts, cash flow forecasting, coordinating the annual budgets, and presenting to the senior leadership team. Other responsibilities include bookkeeping, overseeing inventory, and providing payroll solutions for both permanent staff and subcontractors. You will report directly to the MD and be a pivotal part of the growth strategy.

Ensuring Your Success

Ideally, you will have demonstrable experience working within a smaller business, leading financial operations. You will have varied experience, capable of handling high-level accounts as well as basic bookkeeping, payroll, and auditing. Personality-wise, this role requires a self-starter driven by growth, with excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to present and influence effectively. Ideally, you will hold an accounting qualification (CIMA, ACA, ACCA). Experience in construction is highly desirable.
