Job summary

RECfinancial, partnering with a Leicestershire-based business, seeks a proactive Junior Finance Manager to handle day-to-day bookkeeping, nominal codes, stock management and support month-end reporting. Hybrid role with up to two days from home.

Ideal candidates will be part-qualified in ACA/ACCA or CIMA, or qualified by experience, with Sage and Excel proficiency and a drive to progress into a Finance Manager position in a growing team.

Qualifications

• Oversee day-to-day bookkeeping and nominal code allocations.

Job description

RECfinancial is exclusively partnering with an established, growing Leicestershire-based business to recruit a proactive and ambitious Junior Finance Manager.

Ideal for candidates based within the Leicester / Leicestershire / Melton Mowbray / Loughborough / South Nottingham area.

Directly reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, this hands-on role offers broad operational finance exposure across day-to-day bookkeeping, nominal code allocations, stock management, and supporting month-end management accounts.

The ideal candidate will be an independent and accountable finance professional with proficiency in Sage and Excel. We are seeking a proactive communicator who takes ownership of their workload, actively addresses operational challenges, and reports issues promptly.

The client is looking for a candidate who is ready to step up into a Finance Manager role and will ideally be part-qualified in ACA, ACCA, or CIMA. Candidates who are Qualified by Experience (QBE) with a strong practical accounting background are also strongly encouraged to apply.

You may already be working in an Assistant accountant, Management accountant, or Finance manager type role.

The role offers a salary of £35,000 to £40,000, Private medical insurance, Study support, annual salary reviews, and hybrid working (up to 2 days working from home per week).
