Job summary

NWSSP offers the NHS Wales Financial Management Graduate Scheme, a three-year programme starting September 2027. You will rotate across the finance function, gaining experience in financial management, business partnering and financial planning, while studying for ACCA.

This fixed-term scheme provides first-class training, mentor support and a generous study package, with placements across North, West and South Wales and a potential extension.

Qualifications

• Educated to degree level with a UK 2:2 or foreign equivalent by July 2027.
• Proven ability to work with diverse stakeholders.
• Able to prioritise and manage deadlines under time pressure.
• Experience analyzing complex data and identifying key issues.

Responsibilities

• Will be appointed to a finance role in NHS Wales organisations for the scheme duration.
• Rotate through placements to gain experience in NHS finance including centralised functions like accounts payable and payroll.
• Study for an ACCA qualification over 3 years and achieve it to graduate from the scheme.
• Receive support from a Graduate Lead with opportunities for centralised activities and events.
