P+S Personnel are seeking a Business Accountant to join their client in Lowestoft on a full-time, permanent basis. You will own day-to-day finance, support growth through better systems and controls.

You will prepare month-end management accounts, budgets and cash flow forecasts, balance sheet reconciliations, and oversee supplier invoices and credit control. AAT or higher and experience in management accounting are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in management accounting.
• Proactive approach to system and process improvement.

Responsabilités

• Complete month-end processes and produce monthly Management Accounts.
• Prepare budgets and report on variances.
• Weekly and monthly cash flow forecasts.
• Perform weekly bank reconciliations and liaise with the bank.
• Submit quarterly Group VAT data to accountants, review, and process payments.
• Raise sales invoices and manage credit control.
• Assist in staff recruitment, management, and development of the department as the company grows.
• Conduct balance sheet reconciliations.
• Process and pay supplier invoices.
• Monitor performance against financial targets and recommend actions.
• Continuously improve finance department processes to meet changing business needs.
