Job summary

LCK Academy in Harrow, London, is seeking a Business Finance Lecturer and Module Leader to deliver high-quality teaching across Levels 3–6. You will lead designated modules, develop materials, assess progress, and provide pastoral support to students.

The role requires a Master's in Finance/Accounting or related field, with UK HE teaching experience and a willingness to advance qualifications (FHEA or PGCertHE). Flexible hybrid working is available.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Financial Management, Business Finance, Economics or related field.
• Fellowship of Advance HE (FHEA) or willingness to achieve within 12 months.
• UK teaching qualification (PGCertHE/PGCHE/PGCE) or willingness to obtain within 12 months.
• Doctorate (PhD or equivalent) in Finance, Accounting or related discipline (desirable).
• Professional accounting/finance qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, ACA, CFA or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging teaching across Business Finance, Accounting and related modules (Levels 3–6).
• Lead designated modules including planning, delivery, assessment and evaluation.
• Develop high-quality learning materials reflecting current developments in finance and accounting.
• Provide timely feedback to support learner achievement and progression.
• Act as Personal Tutor, offering academic guidance and pastoral support.
• Monitor student engagement and performance with interventions as needed.
• Contribute to curriculum development, programme enhancement and validation activities.
• Participate in moderation, examination boards and quality assurance processes.
