Job summary

BLACK SHEEP COFFEE LTD is seeking a Finance Lead in London to oversee Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Payroll & Expense processing. You will also support month-end management accounting and reporting for a scale-up business.

You will lead two Finance Coordinators, manage supplier relationships, and deliver insightful reporting to support strategic decisions as the company scales globally.

Qualifications

• Experience in a finance department, preferably multi-site retail.
• Proficiency with accounting software, ideally Oracle NetSuite.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in data and reporting.
• Keen interest in solving problems and optimizing processes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proactive, team-oriented mindset with willingness to learn and take initiative.

Responsibilities

• Line management: coach and develop two Finance Coordinators.
• Review and process supplier invoices; oversee payments.
• Oversee franchise invoice issuance, ensure timely collections and reconciliation.
• Lead monthly payroll for Head Office and Stores with payroll provider.
• Engage with suppliers and customers to resolve queries and discrepancies.
• Prepare weekly and monthly reports to provide key insights for decision-making.
• Assist in bank reconciliations and general ledger reconciliations.
• Support expense processing and identify reporting improvements.
