Job description

Finance Graduate - Customer Service, London

Portfolio Credit Control is seeking a customer service-oriented graduate for a permanent, office-based role in London. The successful candidate will join a busy credit control team responsible for cash collection and ledger administration for a portfolio of approximately £5m across several hundred clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Contact clients regarding overdue accounts, payments, and service queries via telephone and email.
  2. Handle all incoming invoice and payment correspondence, updating internal records accurately.
  3. Collaborate with internal departments to resolve client queries related to invoices.
  4. Perform account adjustments as needed.
  5. Handover files for litigation with complete case history when collection efforts are exhausted, coordinating with the litigation team.
  6. Report client complaints, cancellations, or actions to the Client Experience team.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Attention to detail, proactive attitude, and eagerness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous experience in a finance role is advantageous.
  • Team player with a willingness to develop skills.
  • Experience with Salesforce or Access Dimensions is beneficial but not essential; training will be provided.
