Job summary
Heidelberg Materials UK is launching a Finance Graduate Programme designed to develop future finance professionals through hands-on experience, formal qualifications, and mentorship. You will gain exposure to FP&A, Tax, RCC, and internal controls while rotating across finance functions and partnering with senior professionals.
You will work toward an ACCA or CIMA qualification, with structured development, real responsibilities, and a pathway to leadership in a global construction materials
Qualifications
- Graduating in 2026 or 2027.
- Minimum 2:1 degree in Finance, Accounting or related discipline.
- GCSE English and Maths (4/C or above).
- Willingness to undertake ACCA or CIMA professional training.
- Strong Excel skills; SAP knowledge is beneficial.
- British citizenship or UK settled status.
- Full UK driving licence.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and post journals and accruals in JDE and SAP systems.
- Support monthly management accounts preparation.
- Complete balance sheet reconciliations for designated areas.
- Ensure month-end postings are accurate and timely.
- Assist with tax compliance and internal controls.
- Support audit activities and continuous improvement across Finance.
