Job summary

Johnson Matthey in the UK offers a three-year Finance Graduate programme with rotations across our London head office, Royston hub, and a Lithuanian global solutions unit. You will develop transferable finance skills in transactional, operational and specialist areas while being sponsored for CIMA or ACCA.

The programme includes mentoring, a competitive salary with bonus, generous benefits, and opportunities to work with cross-cultural teams as you progress toward qualification.

Qualifications

  • Be on track to achieve a 2:1 degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Chemistry or Maths.
  • Achieved an A grade in A-Level Maths.
  • Available to start full-time in September 2027.
  • Flexible and willing to relocate nationally and/or internationally for the three rotations.
  • Demonstrate ambition and a genuine interest in developing a career in Finance.

Responsibilities

  • Managing the day to day queries from stakeholders.

Job title: Finance Graduate

Location: UK flexible

At Johnson Matthey, your work will matter. As a Finance Graduate, you'll join a world leader in platinum group metals with over 200 years of history and innovation. You'll help tackle the world's biggest challenges - cutting emissions, powering modern society and enhancing lives - as we continue to apply, refine and recycle metals that matter, for a healthier and more resilient future.

The role

This is a three-year programme which includes rotations where you can develop highly transferable skills and competencies in transactional, operational and specialist Finance. Your rotations will take place across our London head office, our manufacturing and service hub in Royston and potentially our Lithuanian global business solutions hub.

We will also sponsor your academic qualification (either CIMA or ACCA) and we offer a highly competitive salary and bonus structure coupled with market leading benefits.

The programme is robust and challenging, but we believe strongly in mentoring and coaching partnerships, and you will receive plenty of support and career advice along the way.

No two career paths are the same; as part of this programme, you'll forge a journey with JM that reflects your strengths, interests, and passion.

Graduates can select either ACCA or CIMA courses to gain an academic qualification.

JM will fund the following
  • 100% of the cost of the course plus all core texts and books
  • Examination entry fees
  • Paid study leave per module
As a Finance Graduate, you will help drive our goals by
