Overview

Compass Corporate Services is partnering with an ambitious social care provider seeking to strengthen their finance team with a critical appointment. As Finance Director, you will oversee a small finance function and provide support on legal transactions, lenders, and M&A activities, especially land acquisitions.

The Candidate

• Experience within social care is essential; familiarity with local authorities and ICBs is required.
• Ideal candidates are experienced FCs or Heads of Finance eager to advance their careers.
• Strong accounting background.
• Dynamic personality capable of building effective teams.
• Experience embedding new systems and processes.
• Experience navigating private equity sales is a plus.
• Comfortable with forecasting and presenting to boards.

Location

The role is hybrid, combining home working and office presence. Candidates based in Lancashire or surrounding areas are preferred.

Interview Process

The process includes three stages: an initial Teams meeting, a face-to-face interview with the Group MD, and psychometric testing.

Salary ranges from £75,000 to £85,000, plus 33 days of annual leave, including bank holidays. An additional business incentive will be discussed with candidates.
