Finance Director | SaaS scaleup

Hybrid working (West London office 2-3 days p/w, WFH the remainder)

Talentedge Exec is partnering with a hyper-growth SaaS scaleup on a newly created Finance Director role, working closely with an experienced CFOO (a trusted partner who has been recruited multiple times by us).

As Finance Director, you will oversee the daily finance operations, enabling the CFOO to focus on Operations & GTM. You will also play a key role in preparing the company for an exit, which is currently in progress.

Key responsibilities include:

• Evolving the finance infrastructure to ensure scalability
• Leading FP&A, commercial finance, and KPI tracking
• Managing pricing strategies and adjustments
• Partnering across functions within the business
• Developing business cases for new services and geographical expansion
• Handling daily finance tasks such as monthly Board reports, statutory filings, tax, and transactional finance (AP / AR)
• Utilizing Xero and its ecosystem to automate transactions
• Mentoring and developing an overseas finance team

Profile:

• ACA qualified accountant with a strong academic background
• Experience in high-growth tech scaleups, preferably in later-stage VC or PE environments
• Effective communicator, comfortable with cross-functional collaboration
• Ambitious, detail-oriented, and trustworthy
