Job summary

Head Hunted Recruitment Services Ltd is seeking a commercially astute Finance Director to lead financial operations for a Norfolk-based importer, manufacturer and distributor of branded products supplying UK and international markets.

You will act as a close strategic partner to the Managing Director, owning cash flow, risk, tax and governance, while guiding a small finance team and supporting supply chain decisions across multiple locations.

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification with SME manufacturing or complex distribution/import background.
• Experience leading as No.1 or No.2 finance professional in UK SME with international trade exposure.
• Strong ERP implementation history and advanced financial modelling capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain financial strategy, statutory accounts, payroll, and audit processes.
• Oversee cash flow, liquidity, credit control and risk management.
• Lead finance team and bridge with non-finance departments to drive commercial insight.
• Manage FX hedging, working capital and supplier/logistics negotiations.
• Support production planning, cost accounting, BOM analysis and ERP optimisation.
• Lead annual budgeting, rolling forecasts and validate treasury and tax compliance.
