Job summary

The CFO HQ is seeking a commercially minded Finance Director to lead the finance function in a growing Oxfordshire-based engineering/manufacturing business. You will report to the MD and shape the financial strategy, driving digital transformation and performance visibility across the leadership team.

We’re looking for FD-level experience, hands-on leadership, and the ability to implement change in a growing SME with a strong customer base.

Qualifications

• Proven commercial finance capability at FD/Finance Director level.
• Experience in manufacturing/engineering environments is preferred.
• Track record of improving systems, processes and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead modernisation of the finance function and drive digital transformation.
• Influence MD and senior leadership on financial strategy and commercial decisions.
• Develop robust controls, reporting, and profitability insights.
