Aila Recruitment | B Corp™ in London partners with a scale-up tech firm to appoint a Finance Director who will lead the finance function, own the budget, forecast, revenue and the 3-5 year plan with a strong M&A focus.

You will work closely with the CEO as the finance thought partner on strategy and investor relations, and later oversee investor relations as the business grows, while ensuring robust financial controls and governance across the UK and Europe.

Qualifications

• Experience leading finance as a Finance Director or senior finance lead.
• Strong FP&A and strategic finance background.
• Start-up or scale-up operating experience.
• Forecasting, modelling and long-range planning skills.
• Enjoys leading a lean team and rolling up sleeves.
• Interest in M&A and investor work.
• Multi-country experience and European language desirable.

Responsibilities

• Own the annual budget and rolling forecasts for all teams.
• Own revenue planning and reporting across channels.
• Build and own the 3-5-year plan including margins and runway.
• Advise CEO on investments, cost management and growth.
• Lead acquisitions: modelling, due diligence and deals.
• Prepare board/investor reporting and funding support.
• Lead Finance team and maintain controls across UK/Europe.
