Job Summary:

The Financial Director (FD) will be a key member of the executive team, overseeing all financial aspects, ensuring compliance, and supporting strategic growth through financial planning and analysis.

Responsibilities:

1. Financial Strategy and Planning:
   • Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with business goals.
   • Analyse financial data, market trends, and industry benchmarks.
   • Prepare financial forecasts, budgets, and reports for stakeholders.
2. Financial Management:
   • Oversee accounting, budgeting, tax planning, treasury, and cash flow.
   • Ensure compliance with financial regulations.
   • Monitor performance, analyse variances, and implement corrective actions.
   • Develop internal controls and procedures.
3. Financial Reporting and Analysis:
   • Prepare financial statements and reports.
   • Provide insights and recommendations for decision-making.
   • Conduct financial modeling and risk assessments.
4. Stakeholder Management:
   • Collaborate with banks, auditors, and authorities.
   • Build relationships with shareholders, investors, and board members.
   • Support negotiations and partnerships with financial expertise.
5. Team Leadership:
   • Lead and develop the finance team.
   • Set goals, provide coaching, and evaluate performance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field; professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) preferred.
• Proven experience as a Financial Director in construction.
• Strong financial management skills and knowledge of regulations.
• Track record of strategy implementation and growth.
• Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in financial software and Excel.
