Are you an experienced Finance Director ready to make an immediate impact? A respected Education Organisation in the West Midlandsis seeking a dynamic Interim Finance Director to join their leadership team on an interim basis.

Location: West Midlands (Hybrid working available)

Contract Type: Interim (Inside IR35)

Start Date: Immediate

About the Role:

As Interim Finance Director, you will play a pivotal role in steering the organisation through a critical period. You’ll provide strategic financial leadership, ensure robust financial controls, and support key decision-making at the executive level.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the finance function and oversee all financial operations
• Provide strategic financial insight to the senior leadership team
• Ensure compliance with funding and regulatory requirements
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
• Support transformation and cost-efficiency initiatives

Ideal Candidate:

• Proven experience as a Finance Director or senior finance leader in the education sector
• Strong understanding of financial governance and compliance in regulated environments
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Available to start within two weeks
• Willing to be on site in the West Midlands at least 3 days per week
