Role - Finance Director

Company Overview

Marks Sattin are currently recruiting for a growing SME manufacturing business in their search for a Finance Director to work out of their office based in Skelmersdale.

Candidate Requirements

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified
• Previous experience in a manufacturing business
• Strong technical accounting skills
• Experience working within an SME organization (advantageous)
• Ability to work 'hands on' and detail-oriented
• Excellent staff management skills
• Ability to meet tight deadlines
• Exposure to SAP (advantageous but not essential)

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead on budgeting and forecasting
2. Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end reporting
3. Improve processes and systems throughout the organization
4. Build relationships with banks, auditors, etc.
5. Manage cash flow
6. Assist with strategic planning
7. Oversee stock management
8. Manage a small finance team
