Job summary

A senior finance leadership role in Liverpool offers the chance to build, improve and influence the finance function. You will shape processes, embed robust financial controls and act as a strategic partner to the leadership team to drive growth and tender success.

Description

The organisation has growth plans, a strong and engaged leadership team, and a healthy appetite for using finance as a strategic partner across the business. Finance is involved in key decision making, major tender opportunities and organisational planning.

You'll play a leading role in:

Profile

We're looking for a finance professional with experience leading a finance team and partnering with senior stakeholders. You will bring:

• Strong financial management and reporting experience
• Experience driving process improvement and change
• Financial modelling and analytical skills
• Commercial awareness and business partnering capability
• The ability to communicate financial information in a clear and engaging way
• A proactive, hands-on approach
• Experience within the charity, education, social care, housing or other not for profit sectors would be advantageous but is not essential
