Client Server Limited is seeking a Data Engineer to build scalable data pipelines in a finance/Fintech setting. You will design and operate AWS-based data platforms, with strong SQL and Python coding, PostgreSQL, and TimescaleDB experience.

You will collaborate with the Data Platform Engineer to migrate datasets, optimize databases, and ensure data quality, governance, and reliable performance. London office with hybrid WFH options.

Formación

• Experience as a Data Engineer, ideally with financial data / market data in a FinTech or financial services environment.
• Strong SQL and Python coding skills.
• AWS experience, including Data Lakes and S3.
• Experience building and supporting large-scale data pipelines.
• Experience with PostgreSQL.
• Experience with times series data (TimescaleDB preferred).
• Experience with orchestration platforms such as Dagster or Airflow.
• Collaborative with strong communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Design and maintain data pipelines, ingestion frameworks and processing workflows.
• Support migration of datasets into a unified data architecture.
• Collaborate on platform design, data modelling, and database optimisation.
• Onboard new data sources and ensure data quality governance.
• Manage PostgreSQL and timeseries databases; ensure platform reliability and performance.
