Client Server Limited seeks a Senior Data Engineer to design and operate scalable data pipelines in a finance/FinTech setting. You will build ingestion frameworks on AWS, maintain PostgreSQL and TimescaleDB environments and collaborate with a Data Platform Engineer on architecture and data governance.

The role is based in London with three days in the office and two days remote, offering a salary to £120k plus bonus and a strong benefits package including pension, healthcare, and cycle-to-work.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Data Engineer in finance/fintech environments.
• Strong SQL and Python coding skills.
• Strong AWS experience including Data Lakes and S3.
• Experience building and supporting large scale data pipelines.
• Experience with PostgreSQL.
• Experience with timeseries data (TimescaleDB or similar).
• Experience with orchestration platforms such as Dagster or Airflow.
• Collaborative with good communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Design and maintain data pipelines, ingestion frameworks and processing workflows.
• Assist migration of datasets into a unified data architecture.
• Contribute to platform design, data modelling, database optimisation.
• Onboard new data sources and ensure data quality and governance.
• Manage and optimise PostgreSQL and time-series environments; ensure reliability, performance and scalability.
