Job summary

Accenture UKI Finance RP is seeking a Finance Data Engineer to design and manage the finance data ontology and data products sourced from ERP and EPM systems. You will build secure, governed data services for AI, analytics and decision intelligence, enabling auditable and scalable data flows.

The role requires deep experience with modern data platforms (Databricks, Snowflake) on cloud services (Azure/AWS/GCP), strong SQL/Python skills, and familiarity with data contracts, lineage, and CI/CD

Qualifications

• Production data engineering with SQL and Python on modern data platforms.
• Experience with ETL/ELT, data testing, Git and CI/CD.
• Familiarity with Spark-related tooling like PySpark/dbt is beneficial.
• Knowledge of data contracts, lineage, and data quality controls.

Responsibilities

• Build finance ontology and data products from ERP/EPM sources.
• Ingest from SAP, Oracle, Workday and EPM platforms into governed data products.
• Establish data lineage and audit-ready provenance with automated checks.
• Define schemas, access rules and SLAs between teams and clients.
• Collaborate with AI engineers on retrieval and grounding strategies.
• Ensure secure data handling and privacy controls throughout lifecycle.
• Apply DataOps practices including CI/CD and IaC.
