Job summary

Accenture is seeking a Finance Data Engineer to develop the finance data and ontology layer, integrating live ERP/EPM data into governed data products. You will design scalable data contracts, lineage, and retrieval-ready services for AI, analytics and decision intelligence.

Key focus areas include Azure/AWS/GCP deployment, Databricks/Snowflake, and secure, scalable data infrastructure. Collaboration with finance SMEs and governance teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Production data engineering with SQL and Python in Databricks, Snowflake or Fabric.
• Experience with ETL/ELT, data testing, Git and CI/CD.
• Knowledge of finance data structures and canonical/semantic models.
• Experience extracting data from ERP/operational systems via APIs, files or CDC patterns.

Responsibilities

• Build and extend the finance ontology and data contracts across source systems.
• Ingest and govern data from SAP, Oracle, Workday and EPM platforms.
• Develop entity-resolution and master/reference data capabilities.
• Establish data lineage with audits, quality checks and observability.
