As a Credit Controller, you will be responsible for managing debts and ensuring timely payments are made by brokers in line with our credit terms. You will resolve reasons for non-payment with customers to facilitate payments, always acting professionally, promptly, and efficiently. You will also need to build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, demonstrating a strong customer focus.

You will conduct in-depth analysis of the credit portfolio, identifying trends, potential risks, and opportunities for improvement.

Salary Information

Pay is based on relevant experience, skills, and location. Salary is only one part of our total reward package.

Location: Bristol

This role is a 12-month fixed-term contract.

About You

• Work effectively with query management and cash posting teams to resolve queries and ensure cash receipts are applied on time.
• Review data and use bulk upload templates to add Agentref1 codes.
• Adhere to all SLAs, escalation procedures, and quality targets.
• Support and deliver end-to-end tasks/accounts, including enhancing customer experience.
• Proactively handle customer escalations professionally to improve satisfaction.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and stakeholders through effective communication and excellent customer service.
• Experience in financial domains, especially Credit Management, Accounts Receivable, or UK banking systems.
• Self-starter with high attention to detail, customer service, and communication skills.
• Goal-oriented with excellent organizational skills and multitasking abilities.
• Strong team player capable of working independently, resilient, and decisive.
• Proficient in MS Office and finance-related systems/software.
