Leapfrog Recruitment Consultants is seeking an Assistant Director of Finance to lead a varied function, from year-end reporting to budgeting and cashflow. You will manage a small finance team, partner with senior stakeholders and drive governance, controls and process improvements.

• Qualified accountant with strong financial and management accounting experience.
• Experience with annual reports and accounts and coordinating audits.
• Strong budgeting, reporting, governance and internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounts payable/receivable and credit control.
• Produce monthly management accounts with commentary for senior management.
• Maintain General Ledger integrity and conduct reconciliations.
• Coordinate year-end financial statements and audit documentation.
• Engage with internal/external auditors and support the annual audit.
• Oversee finalisation of statutory statements for the Annual Report.
• Prepare annual and ad-hoc budgets and monitor expenditure vs. budget.
• Maintain cashflow and oversee banking arrangements.
