Job summary

FANUC UK in Coventry is seeking a Financial Controller to run the day-to-day Finance function, ensuring accurate reporting and strong controls. You will oversee accounting, payroll, AP, credit control and finance administration, reporting to the Head of Finance & Administration and guiding business decision-making.

The role requires leadership of the Finance team, robust financial analysis, forecasting, and integration with SAP.

Qualifications

• Experience with UK GAAP and statutory reporting.
• Strong accounting and financial controls background.
• Ability to manage month-end closing and financial planning.

Responsibilities

• Lead all financial accounting activities and month-end reporting.
• Ensure accurate statutory and management reporting.
• Maintain balance sheet integrity and reconciliations.
• Oversee VAT, Corporation Tax and payroll processing.
• Coordinate budget, forecast and financial planning processes.
• Manage external audits and financial controls improvements.
• Provide insightful financial analysis to support decisions.
