We have a proven capability in the whole manufacturing process from initial design to tooling and from prototype to series production. We are looking for a Finance Controller to be responsible for the management and cost accounting for the business, management of the finance team, general ledger and sub-ledgers and have oversight of all other data sources (operational and commercial) that interface to the company’s financial systems.

Key responsibilities:

• Support the Finance Director in the financial control, governance and cash management of the business.
• Provide appropriate management and financial information to assist the team in making informed business decisions.
• Financial and statutory reporting.
• Ensure accuracy of data captured from the shop floor and investigate anomalies, errors and omissions.
• Day-to-day management of the company’s CID facility to maximise cash availability and liquidity. Perform periodic facility reconciliations and assist the CID provider with their regular audits and general enquiries.
• Cash Management.
• At all times ensure that all external and internal transactions of the company comply with best governance practice.

You:

• Production accounting experience gained within a manufacturing environment (preferably engineering but not essential).
• Must have a can do/pro-active approach to problem solving.
• Committed to achieving the best outcomes for all problems.
• Ability to lead, motivate and develop team members.
