Job summary

Caesarstone UK is seeking an experienced Finance Controller to oversee financial operations, ensure accurate reporting and provide strategic insights. You will report to the Finance Director and lead a dedicated finance team on-site at Enterprise Park, Lutterworth.

This senior role demands a proactive leader capable of managing monthly, quarterly and annual reporting, budgeting, cash flow, and internal controls while aligning with group HQ and external auditors.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency in double-entry bookkeeping and ensuring the accuracy of financial transactions.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in manufacturing or construction industry is advantageous but not essential.
• Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Deputise for the Finance Director when required.
• Manage the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with relevant accounting standards and company policies.
• Manage the preparation and submission of periodic reports to group HQ.
• Support the budgeting process, including managing the preparation of detailed budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.
• Monitor and manage the company's cash flow to ensure adequate liquidity for operations and investments.
• Ensure compliance with all financial regulations, including tax filings, audits, and statutory reporting requirements.
• Develop and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial data integrity.
• Analyse and manage costs to enhance profitability and operational efficiency.
• Provide financial insights and analysis to support business decisions.
• Work closely with senior management, department heads, and external stakeholders, including auditors and tax advisors.
• Lead and manage a finance team, ensuring high performance and professional development.
• Continuously seek opportunities to improve financial systems, processes, and controls.

Following major expansion plans and the relocation of our Head Office and Distribution Centre, we are we are currently recruiting for an experienced Financial Controller. The Finance Controller at Caesarstone UK will play a pivotal role in overseeing the financial operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting and providing insights to support strategic decision-making. You will report directly to the Finance Director and be responsible for managing a dedicated finance team.

This is an office based role, and as a senior level of finance presence is required, you will be expected to be on-site at our Head Office in Enterprise Park, Lutterworth 5 days per week.
