Job summary

WR Logistics is seeking a Commercial Finance Controller in Coventry to partner with operations, sales and commercial teams across multiple sites. The role focuses on analysing performance, forecasting, and turning financial insight into practical improvements to drive profitability.

Reporting to the Finance Director, you will influence strategic decisions, build models, and challenge commercial assumptions while managing budgets and KPIs.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial finance, financial analysis, management accounting or finance business partnering.
• Ideally studying towards, or newly qualified in, CIMA or ACCA.
• Strong Excel skills and a sound understanding of accounting.
• Confident presenting financial information to non-finance colleagues.
• Commercial awareness and ability to challenge constructively.
• Strong organisation and ability to prioritise competing tasks.
• Hands-on problem-solving and drive for process improvement.
• Willingness to travel between sites and hold a full, clean driving licence.

Responsibilities

The role

About you

Experience within logistics or another multisite business would be beneficial, although relevant experience from other industries will be considered. Knowledge of SAP or Oracle EPM would also be an advantage.
