SSE plc is seeking a Financial Controls professional on a fixed-term contract of up to 18 months. You will spend roughly 50% of your time at one of Glasgow, Perth, London, Reading or Havant, with base salary £51,600–£77,400 plus a 10% performance bonus and benefits.
Reporting to the Head of Financial Controls, you’ll help SSE achieve best-in-class financial control by shaping the framework, delivering assurance, reporting, and insight across Finance.
Base Location: You'll be expected to spend 50% of your working week in one of the following locations Glasgow, Perth, London, Reading or Havant.
Salary: £51,600 - £77,400 + 10% performance-related bonus + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.

We have an opportunity to join the Financial Controls Centre of Excellence for a secondment or fixed term contract of up to 18 months.
Reporting to the Head of Financial Controls you’ll play a key part ensuring Group Finance achieves its ambition of “Best in class financial control”.You’ll ensure the financial control framework keeps pace as Finance goes through a period of rapid change to a process-aligned structure; providing assurance, reporting, and insight on the effectiveness of the framework.
You’ll be responsible for a specific area of Finance, generating and nurturing relationships with key stakeholders at all levels across Finance, including Controllers, Process Leads and business unit FDs.
