Job summary

NHS Northamptonshire Integrated Care Board is seeking a Non-Executive Member (NEM) and Chair of the Finance and Contracting Committee to join its unitary Boards. This pivotal role provides oversight, challenge and support to the Executive Team, with a focus on patient interests and value for money.

You will bring board-level leadership and extensive experience in finance, contracting and public-sector governance, enabling informed decisions across organisations.

Qualifications

• The role requires experienced board level leadership with a breadth of perspectives and a personal commitment to reducing inequalities.
• Experience with financial leadership or oversight in a large, complex organisation.
• Understanding NHS financial frameworks, resource allocation and the link between finance, contracting, performance and quality.
