Job summary

CFC is seeking a Finance Business Analyst for a 12 month fixed-term contract in London. You will join the Finance Change team and work with Finance, FP&A, MI, IBA, Systems and Technology to drive process transformation and strengthen controls.

You’ll map end-to-end processes, gather requirements, run workshops, and help design a scalable operating model. The role requires CIMA/ACCA or equivalent, strong stakeholder management, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable

Qualifications

• Experience in business analysis, process improvement, finance transformation or change delivery.
• Strong process mapping, requirements gathering and stakeholder management skills.
• The ability to analyse complex information, identify opportunities and make evidence-based recommendations.
• Experience supporting business or Finance change initiatives from requirements through to implementation and adoption.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience working with Finance systems, ERP platforms or reporting tools would be advantageous.
• A CIMA, ACCA or equivalent qualification.

Responsibilities

• Working with Finance stakeholders to shape, coordinate and support a variety of Finance change and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Mapping and analysing end-to-end Finance processes, identifying inefficiencies, manual effort and opportunities to improve controls and scalability.
• Gathering and documenting business requirements, facilitating workshops and translating complex needs into clear, actionable recommendations.
• Supporting the design and implementation of Finance operating model initiatives, including process ownership, service catalogues and governance frameworks.
• Acting as the bridge between Finance teams and Finance systems teams, ensuring processes and systems evolve in a consistent and scalable way.
• Partnering with FP&A and MI teams to align processes, data flows, reporting structures and KPI frameworks.
• Coordinating activities across Finance, Systems, Technology and third-party suppliers to support the successful delivery of agreed initiatives.
• Tracking actions, risks, dependencies and decisions to maintain momentum and ensure positive business outcomes.
