Job title:Finance Business Partner – Radar Programmes

Location: Warton – We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role

Salary:£63,900+ (depending on skills and experience)

What you’ll be doing:

• Provide financial insight and proposed actions to improve the underlying financial performance
• Partnering with the business to identify ways to maximise Return on Sales
• Integrate within the Bid teams to become a trusted Business Partner
• Ensure there is focus on maximising operating cashflows
• Work across the different elements of our Finance teams to optimise performance
• Driving process improvements, with particular focus on accuracy of inputs and delivery of cost opportunities

Your skills and experiences:

Essential:

• Must be CIMA, ACA or ACCA (AAT will not be accepted) Qualified
• Experience of people management and development is preferable desirable (with some indirect line management)
• Experience in a similar role as a Finance Business Partner/ Project Accountant engaging with non-Finance staff and providing decision support to stakeholders – demonstrating business acumen

Desirable:

• Involvement with bids
• Demonstratable experience with process improvement

The Radar Project Team:

The Radar Project Team plays a critical role in delivering next-generation radar capability for the Typhoon platform, ensuring it remains at the forefront of operational effectiveness for European and international customers. Working in a dynamic, cross-functional environment, the team partners with Operations, Procurement, Commercial, Project Management, and Finance to drive programme performance, enable strategic growth, and support key initiatives across boundaries.
