Job summary

Greencore is seeking a Finance Business Partner in Leeds to deliver optimal operational performance and ensure the internal control environment aligns with group policy. You will lead procurement analysts, own balance sheet reviews, and support senior leaders with factual decision-making.

The role requires post-qualification experience in Retail/Manufacturing/FMCG, strong stakeholder engagement and the ability to drive budget and forecasting processes across the procurement function.

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA post-qualification experience within Retail, Manufacturing or FMCG.
• Experience of operational decision support.
• Excellent interpersonal skills able to communicate to all levels of the business.
• Ability to build, lead and develop a high performing team.
• Proactive, organised and able to work flexibly to meet deadlines and deliver results.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction to ensure Procurement analysts are engaged, focused, developed and delivering to their full potential.
• Take ownership of the internal control environment to ensure identified risks are addressed and balance sheet integrity is maintained.
• Be a key member of the procurement team providing visible leadership and contributing to the running of the department; provide decision support to SLT and Controllers.
• Lead the process for a robust budget/forecasting process including communication within procurement leadership and to stakeholders.
• Contribute to the wider finance team to drive continuous improvement in controls, efficiency and ways of working.
