Job summary

Greencore, following its January 2026 combination with Bakkavor, seeks a finance leader to deliver operational performance and drive control across UK manufacturing sites. You will provide decision support to key operations stakeholders and lead on finance governance, budgeting and capital management.

The role requires post-qualification accounting experience in manufacturing, strong leadership, and the ability to partner with senior stakeholders to deliver value and sustain strong financial

Qualifications

• Post-qualification accounting experience (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or QBE.
• Experience in operational or commercial decision support in manufacturing.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate at all levels.
• Ability to lead and develop a high performing team.
• Proactive, organised and deadline-driven with delivery focus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the local finance team to reach full potential.
• Own internal control environment and balance sheet integrity with monthly reviews.
• Prepare financials for business cases, capital investment proposals and other activities.
• Drive budget and forecasting processes, with robust challenge and accountability.
• Oversee site capital process, spend planning and project timescales.
• Contribute to wider finance team improvements in controls and ways of working.
• Lead projects to deliver data-driven insights for senior leadership.
• Drive excellence across the business in performance monitoring.
• Develop advanced analytics with data and analytics teams for actionable insights.
• Sponsor diversity and sustainability commitments and responsible leadership.
• Manage organisational risk related to cyber security and data compliance.
