The role involves providing key stakeholders with financial guidance and analysis to support and challenge decision-making processes.

Nationwide offers hybrid working, combining office presence with home working. The role requires spending at least two days per week at our Swindon or Bournemouth office. Further details will be provided upon successful application.

Applications may close early if high volume is received, so timely application is advised.

What you’ll be doing

Seeking adaptable individuals eager to make a significant impact, you will develop a deep understanding of key business metrics, support the Mortgages leadership team, and create insights to enable informed decision-making, driving positive member outcomes. You will also ensure the effectiveness of controls within the team.

Your inquisitiveness and willingness to challenge and improve processes are essential.

About you

  • Excellent prioritisation skills and ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Experience working closely with non-finance stakeholders to balance customer outcomes and sustainability
  • Excellent Excel skills for data consolidation and management information

Our customer-first behaviours include:

  • Feel what customers feel - Empathise and understand customer needs
  • Say it straight - Communicate honestly and clearly
  • Push for better - Challenge and improve continuously
  • Get it done - Prioritise impact and deliver results

You can demonstrate these behaviours in your application.
