Job summary

The Dartmoor Multi Academy Trust is seeking a Finance Business Partner on a fixed-term maternity cover based at the A30 Business Centre, Okehampton. You will join a small finance team, supporting budgeting, cost control and financial reporting across our network of schools.

Key tasks include preparing budgets with the team, maintaining school financial records on PSF, advising principals and budget holders on financial implications, and monitoring expenditure against budgets to support

Qualifications

• Budget preparation with team.
• Maintain and review PSF financial records.
• Advise Principals, budget holders and Trustees on financial implications.

Responsibilities

• To prepare budgets with team.
• Be responsible for the various school financial records held on PSF.
• To advise Principals, budget holders and the Trustees of financial implications of developments, proposal etc by preparing costing and obtaining estimates.
• To oversee and monitor expenditure against budget and advise the Finance Business Manager of any variation from budget.
