Finance Business Partner - Cost

Up to £80,000 + bonus

Location: Manchester

Partner Financial is working with a global and market-leading hospitality business, seeking a Finance Business Partner focused on cost reporting. The company prioritizes its people-first strategy and is entering an exciting growth phase, aiming to unify its brands. This hybrid role is based in Manchester.

Reporting to the Commercial Finance Director, you will handle cost reporting, overheads, forecasting, and budgeting, serving as a trusted advisor to key stakeholders. This is a vital hire responsible for managing the cost base and supporting strategic financial decisions.

Key responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Finance, Operations, and HR teams to analyze, report, and forecast to support cost control.
• Partner with vendors to monitor spending and manage costs.
• Work with management on forecasting and budgeting staff costs, identifying cost trends.
• Participate in headcount budgeting and ROI analysis.
• Lead annual and quarterly budgets and forecasts for costs.
• Develop financial models supporting operational and financial goals.
• Present cost data to management and stakeholders regularly.
• Recommend system and process improvements for cost reporting.

The ideal candidate:

The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant with experience in e-commerce, consumer, B2C, retail, or hospitality, skilled in revenue analysis, margin reporting, and business partnering. Traits include:

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
• Experience in cost management, management accounting, and business partnering.
• Experience in e-commerce, B2C, retail, or consumer sectors is advantageous.
• Proficiency in Excel and financial tools.
• Strong communication skills, proactive attitude, and stakeholder influence ability.
