Role: Finance Business Partner REF 88420
Contract Length: 12 Months
Location: Reading Area - 1-3 days per week onsite depending on needs of the business

IR35: Inside
Pay Rate to Intermediary: Market rate
Security Clearance: Active SC Clearance

Spinwell is recruiting for a Finance Business Partner for an excellent opportunity within the public sector.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE FINANCE BUSINESS PARTNER

• Carry out variance analysis and cost monitoring against a range of financial measures and expense categories, providing input to narratives for impact and recovery statements.
• Build effective stakeholder engagement by maintaining relationships with customer budget holders and wider stakeholders.
• Provide information and reports at appropriate levels during budget holder meetings.
• Provide financial data to support business activities and requirements with clarity and evidence.
• Contribute cost information for business case financials.
• Continuously improve service quality by proactively identifying opportunities, engaging with local teams, and prioritizing changes that add value.
• Be open to challenge and new ideas, share knowledge and experience, and foster a supportive team environment.
• Support the development of a Cost Breakdown Structure (CBS) and other change initiatives.
• Assist in preparing cost studies using historical data and provide benchmarking data to meet specific needs.

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE OF THE FINANCE BUSINESS PARTNER
