Job summary

Michael Page is seeking a qualified Finance Business Partner to join a market-leading client in a fast-paced commercial environment in the UK. You will deliver high-quality financial insight, robust oversight, and challenge senior operational leaders to drive informed business decisions.

You will develop forecasting models, support monthly forecasts and budgets, and provide commentary on performance, risks and opportunities.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA with professional designation.
• Experience as Finance Business Partner or commercial finance role.
• Strong reporting & management accounting experience.
• Proficient in Excel and financial modelling.

Responsibilities

• Provide financial insight and decision support to senior stakeholders.
• Commentary on performance, risks and opportunities.
• Develop and maintain forecasting, budgeting, and scenario models.
• Analyse trading performance to identify drivers and risks.
• Support monthly forecasts, budgets and board presentations.
• Review SSC outputs: management accounts, balance sheet, journals.
• Drive efficiency, automation and process standardisation.
• Promote a strong control environment while enabling commercial aims.
• Support ad hoc projects and strategic initiatives.

As Finance Business Partner, you will play a key role in supporting business performance through the delivery of high-quality financial insight and robust financial oversight. Working closely with senior operational leaders, you will provide critical analysis, challenge, and guidance to drive informed business decisions.

Our client market leading client are seeking a qualified Business Partner to join them on a full time and permanent basis. Operating within a fast-paced and commercially focused environment, the Finance Business Partner will support senior stakeholders with insightful financial analysis, performance reporting, and strategic decision-making.

Description

• Partner with senior stakeholders, providing financial insight, challenge, and decision support.
• Deliver clear and actionable commentary on financial performance, risks, and opportunities.
• Develop and maintain financial models to support forecasting, budgeting, investment appraisal, and scenario planning.
• Analyse trading performance, identifying key drivers, trends, and risks.
• Support the preparation of monthly forecasts, annual budgets, and board-level presentations.
• Review and challenge outputs produced by the shared service function, including management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations, journals, accruals, and month-end reporting.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, focusing on efficiency, automation, and process standardisation.
• Promote a strong control environment while supporting commercial business objectives.
• Support ad hoc projects and strategic initiatives as required.

Profile

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification. (Fully qualified)
• Proven experience in a Finance Business Partner or commercially focused finance role.
• Strong management accounting and financial reporting experience.
• Advanced Excel skills and strong financial modelling capability.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• The confidence to influence and challenge senior stakeholders.
• A proactive approach with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
