Finance Business Partner - Technology Enabled Business - Telford

SF Recruitment is delighted to partner with a cutting-edge, privately owned, technology-enabled business based in Telford to hire an ambitious and proactive Finance Business Partner.

As a Finance Business Partner, you will support the SLT and operational leadership by providing key financial insights to support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

1. Act as the primary finance contact for senior operational stakeholders.
2. Partner with non-finance teams to drive commercial performance and identify opportunities for cost savings and growth.
3. Deliver insightful management reporting and financial analysis to influence strategic decisions.
4. Lead the budgeting and forecasting process, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
5. Support month-end reporting and variance analysis.
6. Drive the development and tracking of key KPIs.
7. Challenge and improve processes, embedding a culture of continuous improvement.
8. Collaborate with the SLT on strategic projects including M&A, pricing strategy, and investment analysis.

Candidate Requirements

To be considered, you should be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with strong commercial acumen and a proactive, problem-solving mindset. Confidence in communicating with senior stakeholders and experience in a fast-paced, evolving environment are essential. Prior experience in a tech-enabled, data-driven, or service-based business is highly advantageous.

You should be naturally curious, eager to understand business operations, and driven to deliver insights that influence decisions. Most importantly, you will thrive in a collaborative, ambitious environment where you can make a significant impact.
