Job summary

Contracts Consultancy Ltd is seeking a Finance Business Partner in Reading to join the Finance Business Partnering team. The role focuses on building strong relationships with accountable leads and providing financial information to drive performance.

You will lead a team to deliver forecasts, budgets, reports and variance analysis, ensure governance, and support business cases. Base is Green Park, Reading, on-site, for a 12-month IR35 contract.

Responsibilities

• Apply all appropriate procedures, processes and systems to ensure the quality and consistency of data supported by your team
• Line and task manage capacity and deployment of business partner managers and their teams in support of Lead Business Partners
• Ensure team deliverables meet time, cost and quality targets including forecasts, budgets, reports and variance analysis
• Developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders
• Support and lead on the resource balancing activities
• Support, contribute and review business cases
• Ensure that the budgets and funding are appropriately configured and appropriate governance is applied
• Maintain high standards in environment, safety, health, security and quality; be a great team player

Overview

A member of the Finance Business Partnering team, Finance Business Partner Managers are responsible for building strong relationships and understanding the business to enable them to lead their teams to provide financial information and insight to accountable leads so they can make informed decisions and drive financial performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Apply all appropriate procedures, processes and systems to ensure the quality and consistency of data supported by your team
• Line and task manage capacity and deployment of business partner managers and their teams in support of Lead Business Partners
• Ensuring the teams deliverables are:
  - Produced to acceptable time, cost & quality, including but not limited to forecasts, budgets, procurement plans, reports and variance analysis
  - Produced to the required Business Rhythm
• Developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders
• Support and lead on the resource balancing activities
• Support, contribute and review business cases
• Ensure that the budgets and funding are appropriately configured and appropriate governance is applied
• Maintain and promote high personal standards in environment, safety, health, security and quality and be a great team player.
