Job summary

Veolia Group in Nottingham is seeking a Finance Business Partner to join a hybrid team. You will produce timely monthly accounts and provide leadership reporting to contract managers, the Regional Finance Controller, and the Regional Manager.

You will prepare forecasts and budgets with Business Managers, ensure compliance with finance procedures, and supervise the workload of direct reports. Strong accounting skills and data-driven insight are essential to drive performance.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA or ACA) with post-qualification experience.
• Experience in managing and motivating staff.
• Strong communication skills with all levels of stakeholders.
• Sound technical accounting skills and data-driven reporting ability.

Responsibilities

• Ensures timely and accurate production of monthly accounts to enable leadership decision-making.
• Reporting results to Business Managers, Regional Finance Controller, and Regional Manager.
• Preparing forecasts/budgets in liaison with Business Managers, advising as required.
• Ensuring contracts comply with finance procedures and policies.
• Plans and supervises the workload of direct reports, managing performance.
• Analyses and reports financial figures and KPIs, explaining variances.
• Plans annual workload with the accounting timetable and handles ad hoc requests.
